On Wednesday, 6/8/11, I had the opportunity to play a practice round of disc golf at the Mansion Course in Lakewood, which will host the Inaugural Rocky Mountain Women’s Disc Golf Championship on Saturday June 11th. The course is amazing. Most holes are tight and technical. A good mix of water and trees to deal with as well. So for all of you women that are playing, BRING IT! I would like to thank Ray Woodruff with the Mile High Disc Golf Club for extending the invite and the land owner for allowing us to play on this awesome course. I’d also like to thank Larry for being my tour guide for the day. The weather was perfect. Upper 70′s, sunny, and very little wind making it a perfect day for throwing some disc. Thanks again to Ray and the Mile High Crew for putting on this event.

So where is this course and how do i become eligible to play it? I hear its private and cant find harldy anything out about it. I have watched a lot of the videos and it looks like a very awesome course!!!!
The Colorado Golf Bible is excellent. I plraicutarly like the history and old photos along with the history of the towns where the golf courses are located. Lots of little known facts throughout this book. There’s nothing like this in Colorado or any other state that I know of that has so many interesting items about the days of old west legends, giving you real insight and understanding to what this beautiful state is all about. Amen!. The book needs to be praised. Can’t wait until it is updated in a few years, I’m sure there will be even more good stuff.
Hi Dylan! Sooo sorry for the only slightly late reply ; ). The course is at a private residence in Lakewood. As such, it is an invite only course (talk about loving disc golf!). Feel free to look up the Rocky Mountain Woman’s Disc Golf Championship! The second annual tourney is coming up soon! IT IS A FANTASTIC EVENT!!! The event administrators will be able to give you a lot more information. Get out and play!!!
